As a newly-settled North Side (Pittsburgh) resident, I wanted to highlight one of my favorite eateries I've found while exploring my neck of the woods: Huszár! A little family-owned Hungarian restaurant tucked into a hidden corner of Deutschtown, the dishes there fondly remind me of the traditional family recipes my dad would make for us growing up. If you've never tried Hungarian cuisine before, you can expect lots of sour cream, dumplings, potatoes, onions, cabbage, stews... everything hearty, filling, and delicious! I highly recommend trying the mushroom or chicken paprikás and the tocsi (potato pancake).
